Race Information

Date: Sunday, February 3, 2013

Race Start and Finish Location: Hornet Stadium, CSUS Sacramento at College Town Dr. and State University Dr. East.  See link below.

Rules and Guidelines for All Entrants:

  • No pets.
  • No unregistered runners, walkers or pacers.
  • Wearing headphone, iPods or Walkman-type radios is discouraged.
  • No strollers, baby joggers, inline skates or bicycles.
  • Race services are limited to a 1:30 finish time (a 15 minute per mile pace).
  • No one other than the runner who officially registered may use the bib number and timing chip issued to that runner. Transferring and/or selling of these items is illegal.
  • Bib numbers must not be altered, should be worn on the front of the runner, and be clearly visible at all times.
  • Timing chip must be worn as follows:
    • Individual event runners: securely attached to the top of the shoe.
    • Relay runners: on the ankle using the strap provided, no higher than six inches from the ground.

Parking: Parking at Hornet Stadium is conveniently located in the lot adjacent to the start line. Plan your tailgating party here!  See course maps for details.

Packet Pick-Up: Packet pick-up information for the 2013 event will be posted when available.

2012 - Packet pick-up will be available on Saturday, February 4 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Arden California Family Fitness location.  The address is 6314 Fair Oaks Blvd in Carmichael.  The nearest cross street is Marconi. Additional packet pick-up is in the parking lot near the start/finish line from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. on race day.  See course maps for details.

Start Time: 9:00 a.m.

Relay Exchange Info: Relay runners running the second leg of the relay should park on Moffatt Way, close to Kadema Drive. Moffatt runs between Kadema and American River Drive. The relay exchange point will be at Oak Meadow Park and Kadema Drive. See course maps for details. 

Awards:

  • Trophies to the overall male and female winners.
  • Football-themed medallions to top three finishers in 5-year age divisons.
    (16 and under, 17 to 19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-24, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and older)
  • Relay Team awards will be presented to the top three teams in each division (male, female, coed).
